At IBC, we spoke with Andy Lin Qibin about two new additions to the NANLUX lineup, the Evoke 150C and 600C. Both fixtures incorporate the company’s new Nebula C8 light engine, which expands color performance and range while maintaining compact, IP-rated builds. We recently covered the NANLUX Evoke 150C, the 600C, and the Nebula C8 eight-color light engine with 1,000–20,000K CCT. On the show floor, we could handle the lights directly, and if you’re after the heavy technical detail, you’ll find that in our earlier articles. NANLUX Evoke 150C and 600C. The result is an ultra-wide 1,000K to 20,000K CCT range, more accurate skin tones, and higher saturation in the red and indigo channels. Andy also pointed out that the system avoids UV output, helping reduce the spectral spikes often found in conventional RGB LEDs. Mounts, control, and accessories The 150C uses an FE mount (an FM mount with electronic contacts), while the 600C incorporates a Bowens electronic mount (BE mount). Both allow standard modifiers, but also support Nanlux’s motorized accessories via the electronic contacts. Andy noted that compatibility with existing Bowens gear not only saves cost but also helps reduce waste. Each fixture supports wired and on-board controls, the NANLUX app, and DMX, with a slot for V-mount batteries via D-tap for portable use. Accessories include...
