American manufacturer MUTINY recently launched an exciting accessory for Canon shooters: a Bolt-On V2 R/S trigger. As its name suggests, this trigger attaches via a 1/4″-20 screw to a cage/top handle/tripod, for example, and allows you to start and stop your camera’s recording. So let’s take a closer look at it! MUTINY is a relatively new third-party accessory manufacturer with a good reputation for its RED-oriented products, including the RED KOMODO NANO and NANO+ BP plate mounts or the V-RAPTOR IO port expander. The company is now back with one of its first products for Canon cameras: the MUTINY Bolt-On V2 R/S trigger, which was already available for the RED KOMODO/V-Raptor. Image credit: MUTINY MUTINY Bolt-On V2 R/S Trigger for Canon cameras – features The MUTINY Bolt-On V2 R/S trigger consists of two components: A trigger button that attaches via the included 1/4″-20 screw to your camera cage, top handle, tripod head, gimbal, or anywhere else you want it. This button lets you start and stop your Canon’s camera video recording, but it can also take a picture in stills mode. One cable with a 3.5mm connector on one side that attaches to the trigger button and a LANC connector on the other side.
