A new EU-based company built by working professionals launches today to support productions, rental houses, and crews with DIT and Video Assist solutions, workflow consulting, distribution of handpicked brands, and training across Europe and the Middle East. MOBY TEC GmbH is officially launching this week from Vienna, Austria, with a clear focus on bridging the gap between high-end production workflows and the practical realities of daily on-set operation. The company is founded by a team of seasoned industry professionals who bring decades of combined experience in cinematography, technical sales, and on-set work. A team with deep industry roots MOBY TEC is founded by Christian Saure, Gregor Franz, and Vojtech Pokorny, with Kitty Scharinger joining as Head of Technical Sales. Christian Saure has worked as a DIT on commercials and large-scale international productions for over 15 years, while also teaching at media schools and universities. He previously handled complex technical consulting projects at Cine Brands Munich. Vojtech Pokorny brings an extensive background spanning both creative and commercial roles. After studying cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin and working as a DP, his previous positions include Technical Sales Specialist at Band Pro and Cine Brands Munich, VP Sales (EMEA) for Teradek, SmallHD, and Wooden Camera, as well as VP Sales at Sound Devices LLC.
