Accessory manufacturer MID49 has recently introduced four audio breakout boxes that are designed to convert your camera’s audio input connector into two standard, full-size XLRs. The four different versions ensure compatibility with a variety of cinema cameras from ARRI, RED, Z CAM, and Canon. Co-founded by Ryan Schorman – former president at Wooden Camera – MID49 is a newborn company that focuses on producing high-end camera accessories, such as baseplates, monitor arms, rods, handles, and more.
