AI is coming for the post-production world with Colourlab Ai, which just released a version with full Apple Silicon support and new tools to make grading faster. While reports of AI coming to steal our jobs have been around for decades, it hasn't seemed to happen yet. But we are finally starting to see tools, especially in post-production, that make our life easier and faster while still enabling a creative artist to be in charge. The most impressive of these so far, Colourlab Ai, released out of beta last year, has just upgraded to 1.1 with a whole host of new features that should make life easier for colorists and filmmakers of all stripes. One of the best new features is "frames of interest," which lets you tell the machine learning algorithm what the key frames you want to work on are.
