LUMIX Lab 2.0 Adds Magic LUT and Workflow Integration with LUMIX Flow 1.3

Panasonic expands its creator ecosystem with two major app updates: LUMIX Lab 2.0 now introduces an AI-driven Magic LUT tool, while LUMIX Flow 1.3 brings new monitoring and storyboard features to compatible cameras. Both updates aim to make color creation and on-set collaboration more accessible to filmmakers and hybrid shooters. While Panasonic’s LUMIX cameras have long been known for their strong color science and user control, the company’s recent focus extends beyond hardware. The new app releases for LUMIX Lab and LUMIX Flow push more of the creative process onto mobile devices. LUMIX Lab 2.0 introduces Magic LUT: AI-generated looks from a single image The key addition in LUMIX Lab 2.0 is Magic LUT, a new AI tool that automatically creates a LUT (look-up table) from any reference photo. Select an image – whether shot on a Lumix body, another brand’s camera, or even a smartphone – and the app analyzes its colors and tones to generate a matching LUT. Users can then adjust intensity or modify individual parameters before exporting it to their camera. Panasonic’s Magic LUT feature lets you select a photo from your camera roll as a reference. AI analyzes and reproduce its colors, tones, and overall mood into a LUT in an instant.
