Libec TK-210C Professional Baby Tripod Released – Carbon-Fiber, 2-Stage Leg Design

Libec has introduced the TK-210C, a carbon-fiber baby tripod made for those times when you need to work low to the ground but don’t want to compromise on stability. The tripod has a 2-stage design, with two extendable leg sections, so you have a broader height range without adding much bulk. It weighs in at 2.7kg (5.9 lb), so it’s light and portable enough to move quickly between setups. Let’s take a closer look. Not too long ago, we visited the Libec factory in Japan to see how they make their tripods and other camera support systems. Libec is a 3rd-generation family-run business that opened their new facility in Tokyo, signaling steady growth and innovation. In June of this year, they introduced the QL40B tripod, featuring a single-section quick-lock design, and now the lineup expands again with the TK-210C. The TK-210C’s 2-stage legs provide more control, letting you work almost at ground level or raise the platform to 70 cm (27.5 in) when needed. At 2.7 kg (5.9 lb) including the floor spreader, it’s portable enough for travel and quick repositioning, while the carbon-fiber legs should keep the weight down without compromising stability.
