Libec, the Japanese leading tripod manufacturer, has completed their new headquarters and factory in Tokyo, meaning a new era for the company. Libec, one of the leading camera support producers in the market, continues their growth by opening up a new headquarters and manufacturing facility. Their history goes back to 1951, when the company started producing and selling photo tripods in Toshimaku, Tokyo. Four years later, thanks to their expansion, they founded the company Heiwa Seiki Kogyo. It was in 1995 that they established ‘Libec’, the well-known video support brand, and then added a distribution subsidiary in LA (2006) and Singapore (2017), and another manufacturing subsidiary in Taiwan (2007).
