Laowa 10mm f/4 Cookie Lens for APS-C Released

Well-known specialty lens manufacturer, Laowa, has just launched another interesting lens: the Laowa 10mm f/4 Cookie lens for mirrorless APS-C cameras is a tiny pancake lens that should fit in any pocket really. This new lens might be tiny in size, but the focal length of a mere 10mm makes it one of the widest rectilinear pancake lenses for APS-C cameras. According to Laowa, the name Cookie refers to the small size of this new lens, it’s not a pancake… but a cookie with a length of 25mm (0.98″)and a weight of just 130g (0.29lbs). Laowa 10mm f/4 Cookie Lens Typically, such wide-angle lenses have obvious barrel distortion and/or a fisheye or pinhole lens design. However, according to the manufacturer, the new Laowa Cookie lens features a high-performance optical design that boasts extremely low distortion and optimized image quality to ensure pleasing results with little to no distortion.
