Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Dragonfly lens for Nikon F-mount review

Here is a quick review of the Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Dragonfly lens for Nikon F-mount with sample photos by Arkadii Shapoval (blog | 500px | see also his previous NR posts): Pros: extremely sharp lens excellent correction of lateral and longitudinal chromatic aberration no visible distortion nice bokeh internal focus max. magnification 1:1 weather-sealing nice focus ring + focus lock ring CPU-contacts tripod collar and lens hood included 11 rounded aperture blades 3 ED and 4 high refractive-index elements Cons: vignetting −1.5 EV at F/2.8 in the frame corners flare and ghosts against bright light no image stabilization difficult focusing in a range from infinity to 3 meters lens doesn’t fit to Nikon D3xxx and D5xxx series (due to built-in flash) The full and very detailed review in Russian is available here.
