Instamic Waterproof Version using Firmware version 1.2.8 These mics are around $140 to $160 depending on splash proof or water proof versions. Review I like the app it is well designed, it connects very fast via Bluetooth I like how easy the mic is to use without the app, very intuitive I like how you can monitor your audio before you record, it would be nice to monitor during recording but it sounds like that eats the battery life. The biggest advantage is the size but when you compare it’s footprint on your talent the biggest disadvantage is it’s size. It would be nice on the non water proof version to add a mic jack for times you do not want to see it on someones shirt.
