It’s designed to preserve your personal touch and creative intent while reducing turnaround times and lowering burnout for working editors. As a direct evolution of the company’s still-image AI workflow, the new platform plugs straight into Adobe Premiere Pro for a smooth, efficient editing experience. When most of us think of an AI video-editing app, frustration tends to rise, and anyone who has written about the topic knows how quickly that frustration fills the comments. The AI moniker has been slapped onto almost everything, often without delivering much in return. But I think it’s the intellectual property issue, often associated with Generative AI firms, that infuriates creatives the most (rightfully so in some cases). Imagen AI, however, took a different path. Two key factors differentiate Imagen AI’s approach from most GenAI crops: it’s non-destructive, producing a copy project and working with fully adjustable layers within Premier Pro, and perhaps more importantly, it doesn’t rely on heaps of scraped intellectual property to generate a video from scratch.
