iFootage has unveiled its latest compact motion solution at IBC 2025, the Shark Slider PICO. Positioned below the Nano line, the PICO is designed for creators who want portability, simplicity, and affordability, without giving up precision movement. Unlike the high-capacity Shark Slider Nano 2 (first look here), which supports up to 7kg payloads and integrates with DJI gimbals for advanced 5-axis motion control , the Shark Slider PICO is aimed at lighter setups. It caters to devices like action cameras, smartphones, the DJI Osmo Pocket, and even smaller mirrorless systems. With a maximum payload of around 2kg, it still offers enough strength for compact cameras while remaining lightweight and highly portable . Compact design for creators on the go The PICO’s compact build addresses a growing demand for sliders that are easy to carry and quick to set up. Unlike many traditional sliders that require companion apps or remotes, the PICO can be operated directly via onboard controls. It features a simple A-to-B movement mode, real-time speed adjustment through a physical knob, and looping functionality for live streams and events . An internal battery powers the unit, although iFootage has not yet confirmed official runtimes. The prototype demonstrated at IBC showed extremely quiet operation, making it suitable for environments where audio recording is critical, such as podcasts, interviews, or live broadcasts. iFootage Shark Slider PICO, previewed at IBC 2025.
