i-cuff Eyecup HD and Pro Models Get a Refresh – Washable, Waterproof, and More Breathable

i-cuff has released an updated version of their HD and Pro eyecup, adding a more breathable fabric and a washable, waterproof design for better comfort and durability in demanding environments. Built for camera operators, DPs, and production crews who spend long days behind the viewfinder, the new models should make those hours just a little easier. CineD has covered many tools designed to make life easier on set, from camera accessories like Wooden Camera systems to portable motion control robots. Now, eyecups don’t usually make headlines, but the right design can mean the difference between a clean shot and a constant fight with fog, glare, or simple discomfort, so I think they’re worth a closer look. i-cuff PRO or the HD eyecup. The i-cuff Pro fits viewfinders with a circumference of up to 24.1 cm (9.5 in), while the HD model extends to 26.7 cm (10.5 in). Each model attaches via a Velcro strap for a custom, secure fit. Where your skin (or your eyeglasses) meets the eyecup, you’ll find Ultrasuede HP chamois for comfort during long takes, breathable for less heat and moisture, waterproof to withstand the elements, and they are easy to clean. i-cuff eyecup on the camera.
