Image credit: H&Y How the system works The Nova-Series combines a variable ND element with a circular polarizer, so you can control exposure and reduce reflection in one filter. The ND3–32 range gives about five stops of light control, useful for keeping exposure balanced in bright light or when aiming for shallow focus. The CPL adjusts separately to manage reflections and surface glare without stacking separate filters. As an example, this setup can be used to blur moving crowds, create motion effects in flowing water, remove reflections from glass surfaces, and reduce glare.
