Hollyland LARK MAX 2 Officially Launched – 32-bit Float, On-board TC & Four-TX Support

Today, Hollyland begins shipping the Hollyland LARK MAX 2 wireless microphone system worldwide. The new flagship kit brings 32-bit float safety recording, a built-in time-code generator, and support for up to four transmitters feeding a single receiver, features that were only teased during our NAB hands-on but are now locked in for production.   In case you missed it, we previously covered this system in a preview from NAB – here is the video interview. Let’s dive into what’s new since then. What’s new since NAB? Frame-accurate time-code generator available on both the 3.5 mm and USB-C UAC outputs for one-step sync in post production.   Four-transmitter workflow lets you mic round-table interviews or multi-talent shoots without an external mixer.   Adjustable AI noise-reduction (0-25 dB) with <1 % distortion to tame wind, traffic, and room reverb.   14h of 32-bit float recording per transmitter plus up to 36h total runtime when you factor in the charging case.   ≤ 20 ms latency across a 1 115 ft / 340m line-of-sight range, powered by 2.4 GHz frequency-hopping tech.   SpecValueInternal recording32-bit float • 14 h (TX)Wireless link2.4 GHz FH • ≤ 20 msMonitoring3.5 mm headphone out • OWS 2.4 GHz ear-monitorAudio I/O3.5 mm stereo, USB-C UAC, Sony MI-shoe (24-bit/48 k)Battery lifeTX 7.5 h • RX 11 h / 36 h with caseMax LOS range1 115 ft / 340 mWeightTX 28 g • RX 32 g The Hollyland LARK MAX 2 transmitters seem to be easier to hide than some of the competitors because of their shape and the included clip.
