Godox is introducing two compact bi-color LED lights, the ML80Bi and ML150Bi, to their lineup of video lighting tools. Both lights use a modular system that adapts to different power and accessory setups, making them versatile and practical for both outdoor and on-location shooting. Let’s have a look! It seems like Godox is always coming up with something new. In September, we saw their KNOWLED MG4K Series as well as their MG4K LED Light, a 2000W LED alternative to 4K HMI. This time, we are looking at a new addition – two modular, portable video lights. Modular design and output The ML80Bi and ML150Bi have a color temperature range of 2800K to 6500K with CRI and TLCI ratings around 96 for accurate color reproduction. They are built around the modular Godox mount system, and support a wide range of magnetic and optical accessories, from diffusers to reflectors. The new ML-Z zoom lens reflector increases light output substantially, reaching 29,600 lux at one meter for the ML80Bi and about 61,000 lux for the ML150Bi, placing them close to 100W lights. (Godox states that to get the strongest output, pair the ML150Bi with the ML-VMA and a V-mount battery.) Both lights offer 0-100% dimming and eleven FX modes for quick on-set adjustments.
