Godox BeamLight Max90 Modifier Enables Parallel Beam Lighting

Godox announced the BeamLight Max90 modifier at NAB 2024 and Graham was there to meet Jameson Brooks from Godox to get a first impression of the prototype of this large modifier for the G-Mount, which creates parallel beam lighting. Image credit: Godox Turn your light into a “laser” beam The BeamLight Max90 can be fitted to all lights using the G-mount system. It will create a beam of light in a 5-degree parallel angle. This allows many uses e.g. for creating volumetric lighting using a cine reflector or as a spotlight. It has been specially designed to replicate sunlight over long distances.  A possible setup with reflectors – Image credit: Godox Possible combinations The modifier will work with all G-mount lighting systems such as the KNOWLED MG2044Bi and the MG1200Bi. The yoke design makes it easy to adjust the angle.
