This plate is entirely made out of aluminum and powers the camera via a low profile XLR connector. Also, it features one D-Tap port (10A max.) on top of the plate to power your accessories. V-Mount plate is that it allows you to use a V-Mount battery and Canon BP-A30/60 simultaneously. It means that you can hot-swap your V-Mount batteries without having to switch off the camera.
