Fujifilm's New X-E4 Is a 4K Shooter That Packs a Punch (and a Flip Screen)

Fujifilm updates the X-E3 with the X-E4, a 4K capable camera with a tilting rear screen. Content creators looking for a compact camera with punch can easily consider the X-E4 from Fujifilm. The X-E4 joins the X series lineup and is a rangefinder-style camera that gives a facelift to the X-E3. It touts the same 26.1-megapixel, X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, fast autofocus, and stellar color science found on all the professional X series cameras, including the X-T4. At 0.80 lbs (364g) and measuring 4.77in x 2.87in x 1.28in (121.3mm x 72.9mm x 32.7mm), X-E4 is Fujifilm's most compact interchangeable-lens camera in the X series. Better yet, the X-E4 oversamples 6K to record 4K DCI 30p at 4:2:0 8-bit internally to SD cards. If you want a bump in bit rate, it offers 4K 30p at 4:2:2 10-bit via its HDMI port. That's pretty cool for a camera of this size. If slow-motion is needed, the X-E4 offers full-HD at 240fps. Read More...
