Credit: FUJIFILM New sensor and X-Processor 5 The FUJIFILM GFX100S II has a new GFX 102MP CMOS II large format sensor around 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor, and a high-speed X-Processor 5. The sensor enables the use of ISO80 in still mode (ISO100 in video mode) as a standard sensitivity, which, together with the 16-bit RAW shooting mode, gives more dynamic range and lower noise than the previous GFX model. The new sensor improves light use efficiency at the edges and comes with 20 Film Simulation Modes (including REALA ACE). The GFX100S II includes the “Pixel Shift Multi-Shot” feature. We can create a 16-shot RAW file, shifting the image sensor by 0.5 pixels for each shot and using the “Pixel Shift Combiner” software.
