There is a new firmware update version 1.2.0 for the Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 Z mirrorless lens (the first autofocus Z-mount lens from a third party). The new firmware contains improved lens compatibility. CameraLabs recently published their review of the Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 Z mirrorless lens – here is their verdict: Good points: Very good resolution – if focused optimally. Good Bokeh. Low vignetting (through lens profile). Low price. Bad points: Focus consistency is mediocre. Strong focus shift. Field curvature mars performance on flat or distant subjects. Longitudinal colour aberrations. Low resistance against flare and glare. No weather sealing. Distortions are not completely corrected by built-in lens profile. Read the full review at CameraLabs.
