Although this is a true photographer’s workhorse, the EOS R3 is also a very capable video camera. Featuring a 24.1MP CMOS full-frame sensor with 5-axis IBIS, the R3 supports 30fps stills burst mode with AE/AF tracking, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and a new Eye control AF that focuses where you look (in photo mode). The camera also supports Canon Log 3. Unfortunately, it seems that Canon is not able to fulfill the huge demand on time as there were long waiting times for the camera earlier this year. At the time of writing this article, B&H says the camera is temporarily out of stock, but CVP claims to have it in stock in the UK, so the situation seems to have improved slightly at least in some regions.
