CineParts Grip Extender for ARRI Hi-5 Introduced

CineParts has recently designed a grip extender for ARRI’s flagship lens control system, the Hi-5. This accessory promises to deliver a WCU-4-style experience while also adding multiple mounting points to your handset. Let’s take a look! UK-based manufacturer CineParts specializes in producing accessories and power solutions designed to make camera assistants’ lives easier on set. Some of their latest creations include a cheese plate for the new Tilta Nucleus M-II (our review here), a V-mount/Gold Mount cradle for the DJI SDR Transmission, and more. On high-end film productions, ARRI’s Hi-5 is definitely one (if not the) most common, wireless lens control system, thanks to its performance (you can read all about its specs here), reliability, and relatively frequent updates. This should make holding the Hi-5 feel more similar to the classic WCU-4, which many camera assistants have grown accustomed to over the years.
