Canon EOS R5 Firmware Update 1.1.0 Released – Definite Overheating Management Improvement

Canon has just released a firmware update for its flagship mirrorless camera: the Canon EOS R5. This Canon EOS R5 firmware update addresses a few bugs and improves overheat control management. Let’s take a closer look at it! Edit: Checking recording times in 8K RAW (DCI, 25p) at the office in “normal room temperature” reveals definite overheating management improvement! Not sure why Canon chose no to highlight this improvement, but for us filmmakers, it is definitely good news! The least we can say is that these cameras were some of the most anticipated ones of this year.
