If you happen to need a new lens and want this lens to be able to take close-up pictures of a subject several hundred feet away, then this is for you! Wetzlar Camera Auctions will offer the legendary Canon EF 1200mm F5.6 L USM for sale in an upcoming auction in early October. Long story short, this lens is just absurdly massive. It is the longest lens ever created for the EF mount I believe and with its length of 80cm (31.5″) and its weight of 16.5kg (36.4 lbs) it is a truly enormous lens indeed. When it was released in 1993, the thing cost around $90,000.
