CAME-TV has just released a new Mark II version of its V-Mount battery clamp. This updated version features a larger opening, so it’s compatible with beefier lighting stands, and it now also features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″- 16 mounting points. Let’s take a closer look at it! Third-party accessory manufacturer CAME-TV is well-known for creating budget-friendly rigging solutions, camera support systems, LED lights and camera batteries. Many LED fixtures can be battery-powered by one or multiple V-Mount cells. In addition, the company’s POWER-STATION has been quite popular as a battery charger and portable generator. However, if your LED fixture does not have a built-in V-Mount battery mount or ballast, you might get into trouble as you can’t let a heavy battery pack hang freely, held only by a power cable. To solve that problem, V-Mount battery clamps come in handy and can be mounted quickly onto light stands and camera tripods, for example.
