Hot on the heels of IBC, we jumped on a friendly talk with David Wong from CAME-TV, who was kind enough to introduce the company’s new Motorized Wireless Track Dolly. The whole system consists of only two parts, a remote control and the motorized dolly itself, which can be used, for example, to upgrade an existing manual tripod-dolly combination. This new CAME-TV Motorized Wireless Track Dolly can be considered an upgrade for existing gear, even if it’s not from CAME-TV. This type of vendor-agnostic equipment is always welcome, of course, as it can be integrated into your existing kit without having to spend extra dollars on a whole new ecosystem. Image credit: CAME-TV The new CAME TV system, although mainly intended for tripod dollies, is quite compact as it includes only two devices: the motorized dolly unit (max payload is 20 kg), to which your existing tripod is attached, and a handy remote control.
