CAME-TV has recently released a new camera cage that is specifically designed to wrap around the RED V-RAPTOR’s body. The company has also built two kits around this accessory. They include a V-mount plate, a top handle, and a baseplate. Pricing starts at $298. The RED V-RAPTOR was first launched in September 2021. The company’s 8K VV flagship model will soon be joined by a studio-oriented edition, the V-RAPTOR XL 8K VV. Moreover, RED announced that an 8K S35 version of the camera is in the works. Several companies are already offering rigging solutions for the original V-RAPTOR. GDU, 8Sinn, and Tilta were among the first manufacturers to develop hardware accessories for the camera. More recently, they were joined by Ignite Digi and Modern Film Tools. Now, it’s time for CAME-TV to jump on the train with their RAPTOR Camera Cage, Kit, and Rig. Let’s take a closer look. The cage is made of CNC-machined aluminum, which should result in a sturdy, lightweight construction.
