Tomorrow (March 10th) Nikon is rumored to announce the development of their professional Z9 mirrorless camera. The actual release will happen later in 2021. We will either see a development press release and/or a teaser for the new camera. There will no details or technical specifications. What we can expect: Newly developed stacked FX sensor (no resolution or sensitivity details) Newly developed Imaging Pipeline Processor to broaden sensor readout emphasizing speed 8K video (no framerate details yet) Integrated vertical grip handle (no battery life or battery type mentioned) Later today I will have another post with updated rumored Z9 specifications.
