Blackmagic Camera 7.2.1 Update Released

Blackmagic Design just released an update to its Camera Utility which inlcudes several pieces of software surrounding their line of cinema cameras such as the URSA Mini Pro 12K (read our initial article here). The Blackmagic Camera 7.2.1 update addresses a bunch of small issues if this very camera. Installing this update will also install Blackmagic RAW Player, Blackmagic RAW Speed Test, Blackmagic RAW SDK and Blackmagic RAW Plugins on your system, so everything is up to date with just one installer. Keeping the camera, as well as the software that goes with it, up to date is obviously crucial for efficient workflows and the best performance from the camera in question. The URSA Mini Pro 12K may not be your average “run’n’gun” documentary camera, but it certainly offers a lot of potential for FX work and specialized workflows.
