Made for on-set production (though rather large for that), editing, photography, and especially color grading, ASUS describes it as a “dream come true monitor” because it blends elements from the popular ProArt 32DC – quite a hit among on-set production professionals – while further pushing into territory that directly addresses the needs of colorists and filmmakers. ASUS is following an industry trend here – to move color-critic workflow further “down” in production, enabling on-set crew to view the footage in the “purest”, most color-accurate form.
