Astera QuikBeam Announced – Ultra-Compact Fresnel with Multiple Powering Options

Astera has introduced the QuikBeam, the newest member of its Quik family of focusing LED Fresnels, making its debut at ISE and BSC. This ultra-compact spotlight delivers the equivalent output of a 200W tungsten fixture while featuring a 13° to 60° Fresnel-based zoom range, swappable QuikBrick batteries, built-in Power over Ethernet, IP65 weather resistance, and the company’s Titan RGBMA LED engine in a package measuring just 136 x 120mm (5.35 x 4.75in) and weighing 1617g (3.56 lbs). Astera’s Quik family has steadily expanded over the past two years, beginning with the 60W QuikSpot in late 2024 and continuing with the QuikPunch in 2025. The QuikBeam slots into this lineup as a compact powerhouse designed specifically for precision lighting applications where size and versatility matter as much as output. The fixture maintains the design philosophy that made its predecessors successful while pushing performance boundaries in an even smaller form factor. The QuikBeam draws on decades of film lighting tradition, following the legacy of classic Fresnel “Inkies” with their bold lenses and defined beams. This new fixture positions itself as an ideal tool for precise uplighting, architectural accents, and feature highlighting across live events, film sets, and broadcast productions.
