The American Society of Cinematographers has revealed the honorees for its 40th Annual Outstanding Achievement Awards, taking place March 8, 2026, at The Beverly Hilton. Robert Yeoman, ASC will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while M. David Mullen, ASC, Cynthia Pusheck, ASC, Stephen Pizzello, and Kodak will be celebrated across multiple categories. The ASC’s milestone 40th awards ceremony will recognize five distinguished recipients whose contributions have shaped the art and craft of cinematography. The gala will be livestreamed globally, allowing cinema professionals and enthusiasts worldwide to participate in the celebration. Robert Yeoman, ASC has built a legendary career defined by meticulous composition and distinctive use of color and symmetry. His breakthrough came with Gus Van Sant’s “Drugstore Cowboy,” earning him an Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography. The cinematographer’s extensive collaboration with director Wes Anderson spans nine films, from “Bottle Rocket” through “Asteroid City,” including “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” which earned Yeoman Oscar, BAFTA, and ASC Award nominations.
