Let’s have a closer look! COB S Series The original COB series has been reviewed by my colleague Graham Sheldon about a year ago, please check out his review about the COB 60x and COB 60d here. Now the new COB S series has just received a LED upgrade. Each fixture features an all-new dual-blue LED chipset, improving its ability to reproduce the light spectrum and significantly increasing their SSI scores, resulting in better color accuracy. The reengineered dual-blue LED chipset, the amaran COB S series utilizes the latest LED technology to output color-accurate light reliably. Daylight-balanced S series fixtures clock in with a SSI (D56) of 86, which is a 19% increase from the original daylight-balanced COB Series fixtures. The bicolor S series fixtures can reach an SSI (D56) of 87, a 17.5% increase over the SSI (D56) score of the original COB series bicolor lights.
