Accsoon has launched yet another handy filmmaking device: the Accsoon F-C01 wireless follow focus system. It consists of two parts, the motor and a hand wheel, and seems to be a very compact solution for filmmakers who are on the go a lot. So let’s take a closer look at it, shall we? At first glance, the new Accsoon F-C01 labeled remote follow focus system has a lot in common with solutions like the Tilta Nucleus Nano which, again, consists of a motor and a hand wheel. But of course, it’s always nice to have options. The Accsoon F-C01 can be used wirelessly or wired, and the handwheel can be mounted on the camera in question or used as a more traditional remote control handwheel off-camera. Accsoon F-C01 wireless follow focus system Using a so-called Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) system enables the Accsoon F-C01 system to switch channels hundreds of times per second, ensuring a reliable wireless connection between motor and hand unit.
