Accsoon CineView and SeeMo HDMI Adapter Firmware Updates – Less Latency, New Features

Chinese manufacturer Accsoon has updated the firmware for the SeeMo device, an HDMI to iOS video preview and capture adapter, and the CineView, a wireless video transmitter. The Accsoon SeeMo preview adapter is available for $179 and the CineView wireless video transmitter for $649 The Accsoon SeeMo HDMI Adapter turns your existing iPhone or iPad into a full-blown video monitor, and a recording or streaming device, using the free Accsoon SEE iOS app. If you are not familiar with this fantastic little tool, please watch the full video review (below) by my colleague Nino or read about the SeeMo here. The new firmware V1.4 minimizes latency even more and also adds several new features to the Accsoon SeeMo. Using the advanced processing power of the latest generation of iPhone and iPad models, in combination with the low latency, this combination turns into a fully useable field monitor solution. To demonstrate the low latency, you can check out Accsoon’s video comparing the performance of the SeeMo together with the latest iPad mini to a professional HDMI monitor. The impressive results show a near identical latency, using a Sony A7 IV camera signal. Additional new SeeMo features Together with the updated Accsoon SEE app (V1.0.3), the firmware brings a cool new feature to the SeeMo adapter: it enables USB-C equipped iPads now to be charged at 1.5A directly from the SeeMo battery while in operation.
