Accsoon has done it once again. Another wireless video system, this time called the Accsoon CineEye 2S Pro. This duo of transmitter and receiver is capable of taking a video source via SDI or HDMI (both up to 1080p60) and sending it over the air to the RX unit, which again offers SDI or HDMI output. Let’s take a closer look! Accsoon is not a new player in this market. The company already has a lot of experience with wireless video systems like the Accsoon CineEye 2 and CineEye 2 Pro as well as the CineEye 2S. So now, no surprise, the CineEye 2S Pro model. What’s new here is the additional SDI input and output, quite helpful when dealing with professional cameras. Accsoon CineEye 2S Pro So essentially, the new Accsoon CineEye S2 Pro combines the best of both worlds: The long range and low latency of the CineEye 2 Pro series and the additional SDI input (plus output on the RX unit) of the CineEye 2S series. Put it all together and we have a quite powerful, yet relatively affordable wireless video system. The company states that the 2S Pro system can send video up to 1200 feet (366 m) line-of-sight with a latency of <60 ms. The overall form factor remains the same, so the only difference between the 2 Pro and 2S Pro is the additional HD-SDI connector.
