A Huge List of Sound Effect Words For Screenwriters

Every time I work on a new screenplay, I get sidetracked looking for the perfect way to describe the win or the rain or a gunshot or anything else. So I finally broke down and made a huge list of sound effects words in order to help myself. And then I thought...these might help a lot of people out. So today, I want to load you up with the onomatopoeia and give you a shortcut of a list of all these words to use next time you 're writing.
