    a fair bit overdone, but I wanted to test it out, share the results,

    the flicker was caused by the cameras(LX7) hdyn mode, not Colordirector, the effect is highly customizable as you can see bellow in hdr effect section http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/118406385 if you want to test it out free trial is available at Cyberlink
