Raspberry Pi for recording?
  • Do you guys think it's a good idea to use a Raspberry Pi as a recording interface?

Basically, you should be able to hook up a 9V battery, USB audio interfaces (if necessary), and at least 1 microphone.

Since it's only about $25, I don't see why someone shouldn't give it a try.

  • I can tell you why. Because it is waste of time.

Get normal recorder. If you so want cheap, you could find plenty of voice recorders on ebay that can write MP3 or PCM for about $40-60. For $80-100 you can get normal recorder.
