Can anyone figure out how to take an anamorphic photo?

    is it even possible? with the gh2 specifically and an anamorphic then just take a photo or am i being stupid? would you need to be filming? then rip stills?? or take photos like you can as u film on the gh2? id just really like to see if its possible it would make for some epic landscape photography....

    Yeah, just take a photo as you always would, then unsqueeze it in post according to the adapter you're using (i.e. resize one dimension in Photoshop).
