China: Issues on housing market

    The number of transactions in the secondary housing market in the first 17 days of October decreased by 63% (almost three times) compared to the same period a year ago. In September, the decline was only 17%.

    China's Bureau of Statistics reported that property prices plunged in September, for the first time since 2015, by 0.08% for new homes and 0.19% in the secondary market.
