    Btw, got it.

    They declare sensor as 15.3 megapixels, with still images being 6Mp. So, sensor is really larger, but lens is designed for different sensor :-), so central part is only used.

    Btw, it also means that in modern 1 CMOS camcorders Panasonic switched to Lumix tech.
    Compacts sensor, compacts touch screen, most probably also to same LSI.

    They might be recycling sensors from large inventories of m43 bodies.
