    I was wondering if anyone has yet to test this out?

    I'm really curious about mounting this on a shoulder rig without an offset adapter for the shoulder mount and just the screen flipped out instead.

    haven't quite tried this one, but i have used the Cineroid EVF. Another Korean product and it's not bad, and affordable

    How does this work- are there any electronic parts at all?

    no electronics, just like the LCDVF and Zacuto viewfinder Anyway I think the GH2 LCD screen is too low res to attach any viewfinder. The camera EVF is so much better but of course it's not as comfortable for prolong use.
