    Mastercard says it will stop processing payments on Pornhub after confirming unlawful content on the site. Bloomberg reported the news, which comes as Pornhub is making substantial changes to how it moderates content.

    “Today, the use of our cards at Pornhub is being terminated. Our investigation over the past several days has confirmed violations of our standards prohibiting unlawful content on their site,” Mastercard spokesperson Seth Eisen tells The Verge. “As a result, and in accordance with our policies, we instructed the financial institutions that connect the site to our network to terminate acceptance. In addition, we continue to investigate potential illegal content on other websites to take the appropriate action.”

    Pornhub came under fire after The New York Times reported finding nonconsensual pornography, recordings of assault, and videos of underage girls on the site. The company called claims that it allows child sexual abuse material “irresponsible and flagrantly untrue.” Soon after, however, Pornhub banned uploads by unidentified users and blocked downloading videos from the site.

    As Trump is no longer much relevant and guys now feel the power they decided to bring morale and order into Pornhub.

    Visa joined the fight

    Credit card companies MasterCard and Visa on Dec. 10 announced they will no longer allow their cards to be used to process payments on pornographic website Pornhub following accusations it showed videos of child sexual abuse.

    In a statement to The Associated Press on Sunday, Pornhub said it is “irresponsible and flagrantly untrue” to suggest that it allows images of the sexual abuse of children on its site.

    Last year, payment service PayPal stopped Pornhub and providers of videos to the site from making and accepting payments through its site, citing unauthorized transactions.

    Main idea is to try to sink the site fast and after this attack few sites that are smaller.

    Pornhub is removing all videos uploaded to its site by unverified users, millions of videos in total, as part of a crackdown on user-uploaded content after two major payment processors suspended service.

    Uploads now have to come from official content partners or members of Pornhub’s “Model Program,” which requires age verification to sign up.

    Pornhub appears to have wiped out more than 8.8 million videos as of this writing. The site boasted 13.5 million videos on Sunday night.

    It is never late to join by making good amateur produced content :-).

    Do not worry about pros in this industry, as far as I know it is only one that had 20-30% grow in number of camera and sound guys this year.
