    If you are editing short videos and use H.264/HEVC using ramdisk as footage storage can sometimes help.

    Many NLEs have quite stupid rendering and caching pipelines, and 8-16GB disk can help to make things smoother even with SSD.

    Especially invaluable is if you have notebook with HDD.
