  • So maybe putting my 5DII strap on my 5Dsr wasn't such a great anti-theft idea ;-) (Plus when the 5Dsr was back at Canon not getting fixed I was using a 5DII with a 5Dsr strap...)

    I suggest to search for Samsung cameras straps, and put them on, and make sticky Samsung logo on all cameras.

    As everyone is afraid to own them and know how much humiliation it is I think no one will ever steal them. May be someone quietly will even put their camera in your bag.

  • Yeah I left my Samsung camera on my car's back seat with the window open. I later remembered my mistake and hurried back only to find somebody had already left another Samsung there with it. ;-)

  • When I used to travel more, I would put matte black tape over my camera/lens logos, use a generic strap and not carry gear in a traditional looking photo bag. Just common sense.

    But hey that free strap that says NIKON on it in bright yellow was free! Gotta use it. ha ha ha.
