    Nearly 11% of Pornhub desktop users arrive using Apple’s Mac OSX while Net Applications reports that only 6.64% of desktop computers currently run OSX.

    Mac OSX users take their time! At 9 minutes 31 seconds they spend nearly a full minute longer than Windows users (8 minutes 39 seconds) each time they visit Pornhub.

    While I hate Apple and I'm all PC...to be fair to Macs, I'm sure most Windows users are torrenting and file sharing their porn. That's what I do...ah...I mean, that's what I hear PC users are doing....>_>.

    everyone loves porn! actually, my thoughts on porn is that i think it's unfair that some guys are making boat loads of $$$ with porn sites while i have to toil away at the daily drudgery of a 9-to-5 job. who wouldn't like filming people screwing all day long and making good money from it?

    no, i haven't tried. not sure how anything i said makes you assume that. my point is: from a filmmaking point of view, how difficult is it to make a REAL film and earn a living from it compared to making porn and making money from it?

    Can be more easy or more difficult. Depends on you and your skills.

    We're told porn rarely makes money any more. The DVD producers had to compete with those who'd do net porn cheaper, then they had to compete with poor single mums with just a bed and a web cam - and now they have to compete with a new generation who'll do it for friends or for free, for people who ask for certain poses or stuff and get their porn a la carte.

    Real films are no different, really. Get me better films than I'm getting (not that hard to do) at a price - and give me somehow some control* over what I'm getting and you might be onto something I'll pay to see.

    By *control I mean how about the ability to re-focus your relentlessly shallow (part-of-nose) DOF, or suppress that track of the 5.1 sound that runs through the entire 2 hours, the one with the deep "boom" like a ship's keel hitting a wharf, faintly and monotonously repeating, then that'd be great! I mean, give me sound control and a good story and I'm all yours for $3.00 per viewing!

    High quality porn is on the rise, mostly online, btw. Last time I checked teams making it use gear same as top Hollywood film teams.

    Part of this could be partly explained because Windows OS is used more often in business, while Mac OS is more often used at home.

    U.S. Mac sales spiked 28.5 percent year over year in the just-concluded fourth quarter of calendar 2013, according to the latest figures from Gartner, giving Apple a 13.7 percent share of its home market while the rest of the industry continues to struggle. AppleInsider

    In fact a single user could appear in various web raw access log files twice: once at work using Windows and browsing work-related websites - and once again from home on a Mac, viewing recreational, travel and entertainment (including porn) sites. Ask this person's ISPs ;-)
