Easy script for drag&drop merging of spanned AVCHD .MTS files (in Windows)

Today I needed to merge some spanned AVCHD/MTS files (because of the 4gb file soize limit on the fat32 capture card) together into one on my workstation. I just searched for this script which I normally used but since I couldn't find the script on my system, I rewrote it and thought I'd share it. Just for everyone else who has some use for this handy little script here's the code:

Just copy this code into a .txt and rename into .bat. Then you can just drag and drop the files, by selecting them and drag the first one on the .bat. You will then be prompted to input a destination path and name. You can merge a total of nine files into one this way.

Has anybody tried EditReady from Divergent Media ? http://www.divergentmedia.com/editready They said it's the fastest video converter on the market at the moment. I'm wondering about the quality compare to 5dtoRGB. Because at the moment I'm using 5dtoRGB, i'm quite happy with the result but the only downside is the converting time.

Hi fox ! This is my last edit, a short film about freestyle snowboarding. A beautiful day in a marvelous park with the two killers Matteo Cuny and Nicolas Palladio. Top of the pop, we finished with a beautiful sunset. So glad and happy to have shot this.

Feature length documentary shot in Iceland with GH2 & GH3

Dýrafjörður, a documentary on life, nature, and creativity is now available on Reelhouse.org The film was shot on a GH2, hacked with EOSHD's vanilla 44, then later Sanity 5, the GH3, and a couple shots and timelapses using the GH1. The film was cut using Adobe PP 5.5 and colored with film convert.

Substitute a M42 mount by a MFT mount

Anybody knows something about substituting a M42 mount by a MFT mount? Any tutorials? I saw a lens being sold that was modified in this way. No adapter needed any more. Appreciate any infos about it.

What is best way to convert for the web: 50p or 24p to 30p

I've bought 2 GH3's PAL and want to start recording videos for the web. Now i know that 30p is best for the web but what would be the best footage/way to convert and what program or hardware to use? Would like to have option to use footage for dvd.

50p to 30p or 24p to 30p

Does anyone know which would give the best results? Or would 24p itself work fine? The videos are only static shots of a guitar(lesson) so no panning.

A second question would be: i want to do live streaming with those 2 cams, would 24p be the best setting for live internet streaming? I've heard 25p is crappy and 50p not yet possible...

FLoAT (BMCC w/glidecam)

shot 95% of this in 2 days just to do a little more testing of the weight of the BMCC on a Glidecam HD2000 and a 12ft CobraCrane. I didn't put a whole lot of time into grading, and this isn't a video showing off DR, raw ability or flaws, just simple "FLoATing BMCC" video. If you notice I purposely shot on some rough terrain to see if any jello would pop up but It did fine.
